When Customers deploy an April chatbot on their website using our embeddable chat widget, the widget may use the following technologies on the End User's device:

  • Local Storage: To maintain conversation state so End Users can continue a conversation if they navigate away and return. This data is stored locally on the End User's device and is not transmitted to our servers unless the End User actively sends a message.
  • Session Identifier: A temporary identifier to associate messages within a single conversation session.

The chat widget does not set any marketing or analytics cookies on End Users' devices. Customers are responsible for disclosing the use of the chat widget in their own cookie and privacy policies.
