Account Setup

Set up your April account and configure your profile.

Getting started with April takes less than a minute.

Creating an Account

  1. Go to theapril.app
  2. Click Get Started Free or Sign Up
  3. Choose your sign-up method:
    • Email & Password — Enter your email and create a password
    • Google — Sign in with your Google account for one-click setup
  4. You'll be taken to your dashboard immediately

Your Dashboard

After signing in, your dashboard shows:

  • Your chatbots (agents)
  • Quick access to create a new agent
  • Navigation to account settings, billing, and team management

Profile Settings

Access your profile settings from the account menu (top-right corner):

  • Update your display name
  • Change your email address
  • Update your password
  • Manage notification preferences

Personal vs. Team Accounts

April supports two types of accounts:

  • Personal account — Your individual workspace. Great for solo users and getting started.
  • Team account — A shared workspace for collaboration. Create a team to invite members and manage agents together.

You can use both — your personal account for experiments and a team account for production chatbots.
